Classes of Membership
 
Developing Hirer
 
£225 per year
Hirers who have not been trading for 2 years, or are not yet ready to adhere to the Best Practice Guide.  Developing Hirers get access to benefits and support to improve, but they are not inspected.  As such they are not full members and so are not allowed to use the MUTA name or logo; they are not allowed to claim to be MUTA members and are not listed on the MUTA website. 
 
Hirer: 1-10 employees
 

£860 per year (£225 + £635 contribution to inspection costs)
Hirers who have been trading for more than 2 years and have between 1 and 10 full-time employees, or equivalent, during the period May to September.

Hirer: 11-25 employees
 
£1000 per year (£225 + £775 contribution to inspection costs)
Hirers who have been trading for more than 2 years and have between 11 and 25 full-time employees, or equivalent, during the period May to September.
 
Hirer: 26+ employees

 
£1460 per year (£440 + £1020 contribution to inspection costs)
Hirers who have been trading for more than 2 years and have 26 or more full-time employees, or equivalent, during the period May to September.
 
Supplier
 
£225 per year
A UK based supplier of goods or services related to marquees, tents or structures.  
 
International
 
£430 per year
A non-UK based supplier of goods or services related to marquees, tents or structures.

I/we apply to join MUTA and if we are approved by the Executive Committee and duly elected, I/we undertake to conform to the Code of Practice and, for hirers, the Best Practice Guide in force for the time being and undertake to pay the annual membership subscription unless I/we give written notice of resignation by 31st December of the previous year.
