Become a supporter

... and encourage higher industry standards

Becoming a MUTA Supporter is easy and it's free. It's open to anyone (except hirers, suppliers and manufacturers who must apply to become Members). Local Authorities, showgrounds, festival organisers, event organisers, wedding and party planners, health & safety consultants, emergency services and private individuals all benefit from being engaged with the heart of the marquee and tent hire industry.

Your supporter benefits:

Safety Seminars
Feedback from our half day safety seminars has been overwhelmingly positive. A presentation from our Health & Safety Compliance Officer is followed by a guided walk around a marquee. You'll discover what to look for in a properly erected marquee and learn how to use the MUTA Checklist to approve a structure on handover.
Voice of the industry
Supporters allow us to demonstrate increased relevance when we are representing the interests of our industry with government, standards and regulatory bodies. MUTA has had many successes influencing the drafting of legislation, rules and guidelines to protect our industry from inappropriate rules and regulations.
Discounted training
MUTA's nationally recognised one-day StructureSafe course gives you and your staff basic training in a wide range of issues they will encounter on site. MUTA now also offer StructureSafe Online - the UK's first e-learning health and safety awareness course for the temporary structure industry, approved by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
