Flame retardancy guidance note published
We’re pleased to announce the publication of MUTA’s latest guidance note on flame retardancy (FR).
The document includes a detailed overview of current standards, testing procedures, and advice on selecting and maintaining FR materials for the temporary structure industry.
In addition, there’s a section on responsibilities which covers suppliers, manufacturers and hirers of temporary structures and associated products.
Following the release of the guidance note, Adam Pretty of supplier member Event Line, said: “MUTA’s advice on flame retardancy has been very useful. The document is well structured and it clearly defines the responsibilites for each part of the supply chain.”
MUTA’s FR guidance note is the fifty-first publication its released, with other topics including long-term structural safety, development of wind management plans, building regulations, and cleaning of temporary structures.
